Rae Dunn Panini Maker - 750 Watt 2-Slice Press Grill with Indicator Lights
My wife told me about the Rae Dunn Panini Maker. My initial reaction to the panini maker, after it appeared on the kitchen counter, was “how cute” and “that seems oddly familiar.” I misjudged the panini maker at first. I had no intention to use the product, because I make great grilled cheese sandwiches and quesadillas in a pan on the stove. Unfortunately, I let the panini maker sit on the kitchen counter for almost two months before using it. One night, I begrudgingly tried the panini maker because I did not want to hassle with reaching into the cabinet, below the stove, and find a small frying pan. Instead, I plugged in the Rae Dunn panini maker. It was AWESOME. In minutes, I had a golden-brown grilled cheese sandwich. As one review states, “[i]t’s compact but mighty.” The next 5 nights, I snacked on grill cheese and blamed my wife for my late-night snacking.
I Never Knew About Rae Dunne
The word “PANINI” written on the panini maker had an oddly familiar font. When I started to research the product, it hit me that I have seen Rae Dunn ceramic products on the shelves of TJ Maxx. Apparently, there are many people who will go to great lengths to find certain Rae Dunn ceramic products. I also learned Rae Dunn has a clothing line and my wife has a cute sweater from the clothing line. I now know Rae Dunn is phenomenon. Yes, I would go as far as saying people are addicted to Rae Dunn products.
The Panini Maker
I love making grilled cheese sandwiches and Quesadillas on the Rae Dunn panini maker. I don’t even think about using frying pans anymore. Now, I make grilled cheese sandwiches in a fraction of the time I did using a pan.
I personally like the panini maker because it is very compact, and does not take up a lot of space. Some online complaints state the machine is too small. However, I find that medium to large slices of sourdough bread fit on the machine much better than on small traditional stove top pan.
Be warned, there is no on and off switch. You have to plug in the electric cord to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off. I will admit, there have been several instances where my wife pointed out I left the panini maker plugged in after I was done using it.
Clean up is a breeze. Just wipe it down with a paper towel, damp cloth or sponge soaked in dishwashing soap and your are good to go.
This is a great product that makes grilling sandwiches very efficient. I am glad my wife told me about the Rae Dunn Panini Maker.
