Tirerack.com Tire Road Hazard Program Saves the Day

Discovering the Amazing Incentives of TireRack.com’s Tire Road Hazard Program

Several months ago, I shared my excellent experience purchasing tires through TireRack.com. Recently, I had yet another positive experience with TireRack.com, that has won me over as a loyal customer. After dropping my son off at school, I noticed that all-too-familiar and unsettling yellow icon on my dashboard, indicating a tire was underinflated. A PSI dashboard warning revealed that the front driver’s side tire was very low. Sure enough, upon inspection, I found a nail near the center of the tire. Bummer. While this was an unfortunate incident and discovery, it let to a happy ending with the discovery of Tirerack.com’s Tire Road Hazard Program.

After finding the nail in the tire, I did not get too angry because I knew the tire can be salvaged and only needed a patch. Still, I couldn’t help but feel frustrated about spending more money after recently investing in new tires. I crossed my arms, leaned against the hood of my car, and sulked for a moment. Then I remembered: the tires came with some type of warranty – I never paid much attention to the details.

As I began to rearrange my to-do list for the day, I remembered reading about a warranty when I purchased my tires. Curious, I picked up my phone and called TireRack.com’s customer service to inquire. I was quickly transferred to the claims department, where a representative informed me that all tires purchased through TireRack.com come with a complimentary two-year TireRack.com Tire Road Hazard Program warranty. The representative offered to initiate a claim for me, explaining that all I needed to do next was complete the process by uploading the required documentation to the TireRack.com’s claims portal.

I was so excited. Not just for the fact I was going to save some money right away, but I felt protected against unforeseen hazards that can cost me some money. When I checked TireRack.com’s website I was thrilled to read about the benefits of the program.

Filing My Claim

I drove my car to the mechanic and got the tire patched. Before leaving, I  made sure to get a copy of my invoice. When I got home, I went to the tirerack.com claims portal  and uploaded the mechanic’s invoice as well as a picture of the tire damage. Even though it was the first time I logged in to the claims portal, most of my personal information  populated, so I was able to complete the claim in less than 3 minutes. The claims portal is very user friendly. And just like that my claim was accepted. I will be receiving a check in the mail to reimburse me for the patching of my tire.

Tires are expensive. But, Tirerack.com makes purchasing tires a great experience – especially knowing I am getting a great price. And now that I know I am covered by the Tire Rack Tire Road Hazard Program, I feel like I have an extra layer of security when driving. I will always purchase my tires through TireRack.com
